The Story of NTVG
In 2008 I came up with an idea to combine two things that I absolutely love; 3D animation and video games. My plan was to create a web site that I could post my 3D animations of past video games, reimagined, and have people guess what they were for prizes. I racked my brain trying to come up with a good .com name for the web site, I came up with NameThatVideoGame.com - and it was taken - until late 2009. So I waited...
2010 began and am I glad I waited. My web company (World Wide Web Co.) is now making social networks. With that technology, I could now do more than just a contest, I could engage people, talk to them and have them talk to each other about video games (and maybe my animations).
So now, in April, I'm launching Name That Video Game! - the concept has grown since I first had the idea and I think its much better. I hope that you enjoy the web site, contribute to it and get a lot out of it as well. For now we can talk about what's going on in the industry (quite a bit) and what's to come (even more). Once the new animation studio is set up, my first project is the first NTVG video, a tricky one that you should have fun trying to guess.
Well, thanks in advance for visiting and joining this new concept in social media. Let's have a lot of fun because, isn't that what it's all about?
